6D5N HongKong Trip - Day1 @Part 2

In the evening , we walked to Hong Kong Victoria Bay from Jordan station. ( kinda far )
Hong Kong Victoria Bay ( Victoria Harbour ) is situated between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Island. It is known as one of the top tourists attraction in Hong Kong where you can enjoy the spectacular view of Hong Kong's skyline.
This is also the third largest harbour in the world after San Francisco in United States and Re de Janeiro in Brazil. We walked along the bay and took some picture over there!

Wendy , Me , Stephanie - took photos at K11 shopping mall.

We were really cold~~ taking picture with breathtaking skyline as background.

Enjoy a peace of mind with such beautiful view....

We were there until night time as we have to wait for the night lighting show. The show is available for each night at 8pm sharp. The harbour and the skyscrappers are host to the spectacular Symphony of Light show! Remember to be there much earlier to grab a perfect seat!

Took this photo with my iphone 5c - not really clear if compare to camera. =/

            Very beautiful. =)

After the show, we walked along the sidewalk and pedestrian area to witness the hand-prints and signatures of famous HongKong actors such as Bruce Lee.

Just managed to capture two hongkong star handprints as there were too many people. =/
 ...............................................................................................................................................................

After night show, we took MRT to Jim Sha Zui 尖沙嘴 to search for 星林云南米线!

This restaurant is very popular in Hongkong as they serve really best rice noodles.

You may order the ingredients of your mee hun with your own preference.

                                                   Menu of drinks~

The shop has limited space and its always in crowded mode !

I chose laver and spicy slice pork as ingredient with medium spicy soup. As a spicy lover , medium spicy is already beyond my limit~ so for those who never tried this better order medium spicy first... LOL. They put lotsa crispy pork crackling in the soup which make it more flavorful. Worth to try and i will revisit this restaurant again if i have the chance! Price around HKD25.

............................................................................................................................................................

Then , we went to Lucky Dessert 发记甜品 to have some sweet course after a heavy meal !
This desserts shop is located at 27 Soy Street, Wong Kok area. ( better use GPS/ Waze )

House Soup Dessert with Mango , Grapefruit and sago HKD38-  They generously put lotsa mango. Mango is very sweet hence as you eat along with little sour grapefruits , you will got constant sweet and sour taste in your mouth at the same time. Nice~

Durian Pancake HKD38 - the cream is too thick and had transcend the taste of durian. awful...

Double-Boiled dessert with Almonds, Papaya and Fungus. HKD38

Service - Good
Price - Little too expensive
Atmosphere - Good

6D5N HongKong Trip - DAY1 @PART 1

I went to Hongkong right after my third semester exam with my friends.
As we reached HongKong International Airport, we bought Hong Kong transportation electronic card known as Octopus 八大通卡 at the nearest counter before hand. With such Octopus card , you can take bus and MRT much easier.

After that , we took bus of A21 to our hostel at Wong Kok 旺角.

                                                                     Excitement ~ <3

With ma babe ( wendy )

Along the way , we were amazed of the beautiful scenery outside the window.

The real look of a big city .

Winter season makes me freezeeeeee ~

We stayed in Ah Shan Hostel which is very near from the Wong Kok MRT station. The hostel is at 14th floor inside the 先施大厦 building.( walk straight from mrt station , crossed two traffic light , and the building will be on your left hand side.)

The room looks small but its very clean and comfy. They do provide refrigerator , tv , private toilet , as well as drinking water with reasonable room rates.  Rating : 8.5/10

                                                                     Day 1 #OOTD

After we checked in our room and put our luggage, we headed to the nearest restaurant to have our first meal in Hong Kong!
We took MRT to Jordan station and walked few-minutes distance to Australian Dairy Company. This restaurant is voted as the top eatery in Hong Kong. No wander the queue is so long. ==''
But good news is that the service in such restaurant is very efficient where they are able to serve 50 customers in 30 minutes. We waited for around 20 minutes to be seated.

                                                          Australian Dairy Company

Waiters are very impolite especially him. ==

Very nice fresh milk. Rate : 9.5/10. Must try when you come !

                                 杏汁炖鸡蛋 ( top )  蛋白炖鲜奶 ( bottom ) each with HKD 26.
The 蛋白炖鲜奶 is very nice with thick milky creamy taste. The other one taste kinda weird.

火腿通粉 - not bad. but nothing much special.

叉烧汤意粉 comes in 茶餐 set which cost HKD 36 -  not bad.

火腿煎双蛋 in  茶餐 set. Scambled eggs taste incredibly great. I never taste eggs which is cook with milk. Very delicious

Everything in this eatery is about milk. If you are a milk lover i bet you will be in love with every single meal over here. But only feeling of hostility towards this restaurant is the attitude of the waiters. They chased you to finish to food in a jiffy as there are lots of people queuing outside.

service - bad
food - worh to try
atmosphere - eat fast and leave fast

Munch Cafe @Padungan,Kuching

Munch Cafe here i come!!
When i was in kl , i keep noticing my friends went here to have breakfast and the food they captured always look so delicious and tempting !!
Finally it is my turn to be here. XD
Well , Munch Cafe is right beside the Padungan Secret Recipe , opposite the "old" up-well.

Note down their business hours ~ :)

Prawn Wantan Dry RM6.80 - Although the quantity of the wantan might disappointed you once the meal is served , you will definitely be amazed  once you put them in your mouth!  The wantan taste extraordinary great which compare to the other stalls/cafe. The prawns they used were very fresh and the wantan taste very soft yet a little bit chewy because of the prawns and minced porks. Nice meal.

Sandwich Deluxe Version ( RM10 ) - The sandwich consists of turkey hams, cheese , eggs and lettuce ! I really love their sandwich! Its very suitable for take-away especially when you are in a rush to workplace. Recommended dish.

Look at how thick is the sandwich~

          All the yummy foods~

Everything is great here.
Price reasonable.
There are a varieties of foods including desserts too.
Would be back again~ :)
