Caffeine and Cocoa@CityOne,Kuching

Recently Kuching CityOne has a newly-opened cafe which is now the 'hot-spot' for young adults to have a chit-chat gathering with friends.

The decor of this cafe is kinda stunning and have a similar feel as the Tour Le Jous in Kuala Lumpur which i went before.

I came here with my sisters to try out their goody.

           Menu on the board ~ similar style as starbucks...<3 

           Black and White - RM11.50 The cake is made up of black and white chocolate i guess. But their cake taste a little too sweet. The cake also has no chocolatey taste. Maybe they could reduce the sweetness of the cake by using dark chocolate? hmm...

           Cheese Cake RM9.50 - Cheese cake is quite rich... but the cake is kinda floury...

            Cake is served on a piece of plain wood. Very unique way of presenting the dish.  

                            Mango Ice Blended taste not bad..

BIG SPOON@Time Square,KL

Coincidentally passed by this restaurant when we were having window shopping at Time Square. The things that attracted us is that there's no chair in this small dining place.
The owner of the shop is kinda friendly and welcomed us to try out the menu here. Since we were quite hungry that time , we decided to 'stand' and give it a go.

                                              Not much choices on the menu.

       People are standing and enjoy the food. LOLs 

          Chicken Cold Noodle RM1.90 - Everything here is serve by using a big spoon. The noodle taste better with the red chilies sauce. My friend love the green sauce which i dont like it and i seriously dont know what is the green sauce.  

         Dumpling in House Special Sauce RM 3.90. The dumplings are good. just too few. HAHA 

       Owner claimed that this is origin from China but i think this is exactly like roti canai...oops ..

Service : Owner is very approachable and lovely
Overall : Not bad. but i think they should really increase the choices on the menu and serve a larger portion ? 

Old School @Jaya One,KL

Old School is a new restaurant located at G-floor in Jaya One,
My friends whom already tried out their cuisine say they serve really delicious meal. So i suggested to bring another bunch of course mate here for dinner after a tiring day.

             Very eye-catching drawing on the wall. In a sudden , i miss schooling,,,

                                 They designed the restaurant with the idea of classroom. Interesting huh? LOL

                                               Root Beer RM3.80 

                                                        Fresh Milk RM 4.80  

                           Steamed Rice with Salted Chicken Drumstick RM 12.90 - They use chinese medicine herbs called Dang Gui to steam the chicken. Dang Gui makes the rice having strong in fragrance and sweet with a tinge of bitterness. Actually i would suggest if they served a bowl of soup which would be much better. 

           Steamed Rice with Chicken , Mushrooms and Chicken Sausage RM13.90 

                  Grilled Chicken Steak RM15.80 -  I'm not a fan of chicken but i really love them making the chicken chop taste like pizza. Seriously. Tender chicken breast meat matched so well with melted cheese. Wedges and salads very nice as well. 

                  Asam Laksa RM10.80 - So yummy! Spicy with little sour taste. I was surprised that they put sliced mango into the soup. Make the soup taste even more tastier. 

Fried Rice in Pork Soup RM 13.80 - Nice.

The service is good, waitress/waiter very polite and friendly.
The price might be a little bit expensive but still affordable.

We had second round right after our dinner yesterday night.
A&W is right opposite the Amcorp Mall , we were just very excited coz its been really a long time since the last time we visited here.

                      Root Beer Floated RM4.20 - so satisfying drinks , we ordered 3 big glasses of this.

                         Waffle + Banana boat ice-cream RM14 - Tada ! Waffles with strawberry vanilla ice-cream as topping. I dont really like the strawberry sauce duh... =/ But waffle was incredibly great !! 

                                      We ordered another original waffle because it is just too delicious. 

                                                    Say cheese babes... =) 

                                                    A well spent night. =p

Pancake House @IOI City Mall,Putrajaya

I went to the IOI shopping mall with a bunch of friends and we were so hungry by the time we reached , hence we decided to have a high tea meal at Pancake House.

         Spaghetti Club Special Set RM19.90 - Speghetti served with bolognese sauce with lite Club sandwiched and salad as dressings. Overall was ok.  

           Portion is kinda huge.  

                               Mini Pancake was served together with the sandwiched set meal.  

  Banana Cinnamon Pancake RM15.90 - Fluffy Pancake is made with cinnamon powder served with caramelizes sliced banana. I think this should be a great dish for cinnamon lover. I personally don't really like the taste.

Chocolate Marble Waffle RM11.90 - I would rather prefer the waffle to be served with chocolate ice-cream instead of the creamy butter toppings.

Overall Rating : 5/10

Thanks my beloved babe for driving us all the way to this cafe. I heard of this factory's name for lotsa times but still couldn't have the chance to visit here. Well , thanks to Wendy babe. <3
We were there in the afternoon to have our jimui's high tea.
This cafe is less crowded in the afternoon but would be very busy during the night. So for special occasion , please make your reservation earlier.

            We were the only customers when we reached! WAHAHAHA all spaces belong to us now. 

          The shop designed with coffee stand right in the middle which is very eye-catching when you step into the cafe. A coffee bar station with great serving area. They put up menu on loving chalkboard in front of the counter. ( I took the photo from behind )

                        Cleanliness rating : 9.9/10. 

  

         The first floor of the cafe. Simple yet comfy. Love it.

               Tada ! These were our high tea ! 

             Green Tea Latte RM 9. Latte taste kinda weird with green tea. They did add some milk which makes everything taste even more awkward.......~.~ Its not for our liking.            

                                            Tropica Mojitto Orange RM6.90 . Soda + Orange = not bad.

          Mocha RM 9.50. Mocha is great with flavorful of chocolate taste.

              New York Cheese Cake RM 8.50. The cake is very nice over here. ;')

            Free biscuit served by my friend's friend who worked as barista in this cafe. Thank man!  

           Horlick Crepe RM 9.50. Horlick taste so thick yet not too sweet. I love this crepe so much! Recommended !
