Munch Cafe @Padungan,Kuching

Munch Cafe here i come!!
When i was in kl , i keep noticing my friends went here to have breakfast and the food they captured always look so delicious and tempting !!
Finally it is my turn to be here. XD
Well , Munch Cafe is right beside the Padungan Secret Recipe , opposite the "old" up-well.

Note down their business hours ~ :)

Prawn Wantan Dry RM6.80 - Although the quantity of the wantan might disappointed you once the meal is served , you will definitely be amazed  once you put them in your mouth!  The wantan taste extraordinary great which compare to the other stalls/cafe. The prawns they used were very fresh and the wantan taste very soft yet a little bit chewy because of the prawns and minced porks. Nice meal.

Sandwich Deluxe Version ( RM10 ) - The sandwich consists of turkey hams, cheese , eggs and lettuce ! I really love their sandwich! Its very suitable for take-away especially when you are in a rush to workplace. Recommended dish.

Look at how thick is the sandwich~

          All the yummy foods~

Everything is great here.
Price reasonable.
There are a varieties of foods including desserts too.
Would be back again~ :)

Restaurant Loong Foong @Seapark,PJ

I went to this restaurant with my sister few days back.
This restaurant is just opposite Kaki Corner Restaurant at Sea Park area and its located at the corner of the shop-lots.
My sister keep recommending me that their food is so cheap and delicious so she decided to bring me here as well.
Thanks jie jie anyway~ <3

Signature Roasted Duck ( 1/4 portions ) - the duck got juicy bird and crisp skin. Really delicious!

                            KangKung Belacan

                                  Pork Ribs King

Butter Prawns - the buttery smell is not very strong and curry leaves is not very aromatic. Okok only.

Lemon Chicken ( half portions ) - My sister's favourite dish. The dish is not too lemony, just nice. The chicken is soft with very crispy texture on the skin. Very delightful dish. Nice!

We ordered every dish for the portions of three persons.
Overall only cost RM110 which including a big bowl of seaweed soup which i had forgotten to capture it, and also rice as well as drinks.
Reasonable price with very good quality of meal served.

U Desserts(優甜品)@SS2,PJ

So far there are already more than 7 outlets of U desserts in Malaysia.
While searching for some delightful desserts around SS2, we coincidentally found out that this new-opening desserts shop had already set foot here around PJ area.
We were there kinda late but still very crowded.
The shop is just few minutes walk from the well-known Karaoke station ( Neway ).

They do served durian crepe ! we didn't try these as we had ordered quite a lot of dishes from the menu.

Lots of young adults came and try out their desserts too. Environment is very ambient with simple interior decoration.

Aloe Vera Pomelo in Mango Sago Sweet Soup ( RM 10.80 ) -  Dish is very refreshing and we all fell in love with it! They generously put lotsa fresh and sweet mango which taste awesome when you enjoy together with the pomelo.
Sweet mango + slightly sour pomelo + cold mango soup =  PERFECT

Red Beam Paste with Mini Rice Balls ( RM5.80 ) - Rice ball don't taste floury and they are so chewy!
Red bean soup is not too sweet and they really cooked it for quite a long time which makes the soup to be thick and viscous. Very nice.

          Herbal Jelly ( RM5.80 )

Wafflemania Ice-cream ( RM9.90 ) - I am very afraid of eating waffle which has burnt smell and too crispy. Surprisingly their waffles are not. The crispy-edge waffle taste best when you dipped some ice-cream and melts them in your tongue! Delicious desserts!

The service is very good and impressive.
They do provide free lemon water for each customer.
Would definitely come and visit here again.

Home Made Fish Head Noodles@Midvalley , KL

Some of my friends told me that their fish head noodles are awesome.
I wander how nice is their food so i am here to clarify myselffff...
I went here around 7pm and obviously there is no long queue ( which is a good news to us )
You can actually choose to sit in the air-conditioned room inside the restaurant or outside.

Deep Fried Fish Head Mee Hoon (with san milk)  RM11.90 - very delicious. You may choose mee hoon or yee mee , depends on your own preference.

The fish they used are fresh and no stingy smells which i guess most of us don't like. The soup rather flavorful, and most importantly, the home made chili sauce do spice up the foods.

Fresh Fish Head Mee Hoon RM11.90

As compare to the first dish , the soup is much sweeter because they cook the fish together with the soup. I really like their noodles here.Would be back again if got the chance.

Kim Lian Kee @Petaling Street,KL

When people talk about Petaling Street (磁场街), they probably will ask whether have you eaten the very well-known Hokkien Mee at Kim Lian Kee restaurant yet. This is because Kim Lian Kee restaurant is the birth place of Hokkien Mee in KL.
Well , after studying in KL for 2 years, i finally managed to try the legendary Hokkien Mee !
Me and my coursemates went to pasar seni and decided to have our lunch here.
For your infomation , Kim Lian Kee now available at Lot 10 , Sunway pywamid and Viva Home as well..

         Chinese-styled restaurant.

Homemade sambal chillies. very spicy and its abit salty.

Tada ! I can't wait to try them out!

月光河粉 ( Moonlight kuey tiaw ) RM22 - My favourite dish among the rest. The kuey tiaw has left little charcoal aroma at the taste buds of your tongue. Very Delicious!

福建面 (hokkien mee ) RM22  - Their signature hokkien mee is here in front of me!(superexcited ).They use charcoal to fried the noodles which gives little burn smell to this hokkien mee. Their secret recipe sauce taste sweet and with barbecue smell as well. All of my coursemates love this so much.

            卤面(Loh Mee ) RM22 - Slurpsss....

金香炒饭 ( spicy fried rice ) RM23 - The fried rice is a bit tasteless and we are quite disappointed with this meal.

Tim Ho Wan @Bedok Mall,Singapore

Tim Ho Wan is selling Michelin Star Hong Kong's most famous Dim Sum.
This is one of the flagship store selling really best and cheap dim sum in Hongkong.
Since the store is now opening in Sinapore, so i must grabbed this opportunity to evaluate by myself !
Me and Rick went there around 12.30pm for lunch but still could't avoid the very long queue.

Although the queue seems very long but we actually didn't waited for too long. I guess its due to the efficiency of the workers over there. They do the cleaning very fast and systematically.

Signature Baked Bun with BBQ Pork 酥皮焗叉燒包( $ 4.50 ) - Their best seller pork bun is really great. The texture of the bun is very similar as puo luo bun but with much crunchiness. The bun is slightly thicker but its not oily at all. The fillings of the bun is barbecue flavored cha siu pork which is very flavorful. Best Cha Siu bun ever!!!

Glutinous Rice with Lotus Leaf  古法糯米鸡 ( $ 5 ) - steamed sticky rice with chicken in lotus leaf wrap.

Prawn Dumpling  晶莹鲜虾饺 ( $ 5.50 ) - Wanton skin is not too thick and its very soft as well. Dumpling was filled with fresh and sweet prawns. They didn't add too much ingredients so you can taste the sweetness of the prawns.

Rice with Beef and Fried Egg 煎蛋牛肉饭 ( $ 6 ) tender strips of the marinated beef lend flavor to the heating rice. They do pour some sweet sauce onto the rice while serving. The sauce really enhance the savour of the beef

Dumpling with Spicy Sauce ( $ 5 ) 辣汁饺子 - full of parsley smell and the dumpling was really spicy. Appetizing dish !

Steamed Egg Cake ( $ 3.80 ) 香滑马来糕 - soft , sweet , springy sponge cake. My favourite!

          Pork Dumpling with Shrimp 鲜虾烧卖皇 ( $ 5 ) - Nice.

               Vermicelli Roll with Shrimp 韭王鲜虾肠 ( $ 5.50 )

Service was great.
Food very scrumptious.
Environment also comfy.
Really love this restaurant!

新马活海鲜@Kallang,Singapore

One of the most popular restaurant in Singapore is 新马活海鲜 which is selling the Edible Frogs Porridge.
新马活海鲜 is especially legendary with their Chinese Edible Frogs which is very well-known among Singaporeans and tourists.
How can i go there? Well , the place is just a short distance walks from the Kallang mrt station. ( location is quite strategic )

         Sambal Kangkung RM 26 ( $10 ) -  delicious.

Crispy Fried Anchovies  RM 8 ( $3 ) - side order of fried anchovies taste best when you eat together with the porridge.

Golden Butter Squid RM 46.80 ( $18 ) - the deep fried crispy squid has strong aroma of curry leaves which makes the buttery smell more flavorful. The crunchy butter egg bits on the squid taste very good when mix together with the porridge. RECOMMENDED.

I like the smoky spiced dried chilies sauce. It has mild spicy taste with thick and sweet soy sauce.Taste fantastic when you mix them up with the porridge. This can probably shared among 3-4 persons.

5 frogs + 1 big bowl of porridge RM 55 ( $22 ) Kinda expensive if we convert to Malaysian Ringgit. But worth trying !

You shall never missed this. Rating : 9.5/10
